We live in a time when creating an application has never been easier. The rise of AI tools like ChatGPT and Cursor has led to the emergence of young millionaires who yesterday didn’t even know how to open Visual Studio Code. SheepAI brings together developers and entrepreneurs who, in a one-day hackathon, solve problems that used to take months to address.

Who can apply?

We welcome participants aged 18 and older with experience in designing or developing digital products (such as web or mobile apps).

How many people can be on a team?

Each team can have up to 5 members.

Can I submit my own app idea?

No, all challenges will be provided by our hackathon partners at the event. Participants will work on these predefined challenges rather than submitting their own ideas.

What should I bring?

Please bring your own laptop, charger, and any necessary devices for development.

Are meals and refreshments provided?

Yes, meals and refreshments will be provided throughout the event to keep you fueled and focused. We will have both lunch and dinner as well as beer and other drinks throughout the event.

Do I need to have any experience in AI?

No, and AI integration within a solution or usage during the event is not a requirement. We believe tools like ChatGPT are enabler of increased development velocity, but it's up to you if you want to use it or not.

What is the hackathon schedule?

The event will start in the morning and last whole day on December 14, 2024. Specific timing details will be shared closer to the event.

Can I work remotely?

No, this is an in-person event. All participants are expected to attend at the venue.

What are the rules on code ownership and intellectual property?

Any code created during the hackathon remains the intellectual property of the team or individual who created it. However, solutions may be presented to our partner companies, and by participating, you agree to showcase your work.
